Museum Studies Summer Internship

The Rubell Museum’s Museum Studies Internship program, made possible with support from the Knight Foundation, is designed to give students an introduction to the inner workings of a contemporary art museum. Interns will shadow staff in different museum departments, conduct research on artworks in the collection, prepare presentations for the internship supervisors, and lead daily guided tours for visitors. Additionally, weekly site visits will be incorporated into the program for interns to learn from local artists and arts professionals throughout the city.

The part-time internship will run for 6 weeks, from June 5th to July 12th. The program is open to college undergraduate and graduate students of all relevant disciplines. Our goal is to foster experiences, research, and discussions that will provide a valuable experience to students seeking a career in museums.
